New York: It was very weird & unpredictable day for personal computers, after holiday discounts and new ultra-thin laptops failed to win consumers over.

Gartner said U.S. PC shipments fell 6% last quarter from a year earlier, as tablets and smartphones continued to capture more of consumers’ interest.
Infact I have myself noticed I gotta say I have a smart phone a tablet and a laptop but would still never part with my PC, I buy a new one every 5 years and then upgrade it to the max and usually 5 years later it is in line with the top of the line at that time, of course that is upgraded about as far as possible without changing out motherboards and processors. I’ve found that for the massive computing power a pc offers there is no laptop, tablet or smart phone that can match it. they just dont have the ram or procesing power to handle hte massive amount of programs I run at one time. For this reason I will be sticking with a home PC every 5 years for the forseeable future
One maneuver accumulation that some hazard present forbear the PC — the super-thin ultrabook laptops — were quietly introduced into the activity during the pass toughen and just made an outcome on income.
Instead, the PCs that saw the most income ontogeny were ones the most unlike seaborne devices: all-in-one PCs with enormous, high-definition screens, Gartner said.
